DASH AMÕR ("Dashamor", "we", "us" or "our") operates the Dashamor mobile application and related services (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & identity — your name, mobile number (used to sign in with a one-time password / OTP) and, optionally, your email address.
- Delivery & billing details — the shipping and billing addresses, pincode and contact number you save to place orders.
- Order & transaction data — the products you view, items in your cart, your order history, and the payment details needed to complete a purchase. Card / UPI / wallet details are entered with and processed by our payment partners — we do not store your full payment credentials.
- Wholesaler / business details — if you register as a wholesaler, the business name, GST number and PAN you provide for verification.
- Photos you upload — a profile picture and any images you attach to product reviews.
- Device & usage data — device type and model, app version, a push-notification token, and in-app activity (such as items viewed and purchased) that helps us operate and improve the App.
2. App Permissions
The App may request the following permissions. You can grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings:
- Notifications — to send order updates, delivery alerts and offers.
- Location / Address — to help you set your delivery pincode and estimate delivery. We do not track your location in the background.
- Camera & Photos / Storage — only when you choose to upload a profile picture or a review image.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create, secure and manage your account and verify your mobile number.
- To process, deliver, track and support your orders and returns.
- To process payments through secure payment gateways.
- To send order updates, delivery notifications and, where permitted, offers.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To understand usage, prevent fraud and improve our products, services and App.
4. Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the App, and only to the extent needed:
- Payment gateways (such as Razorpay, PayPal and Stripe) — to process your payments securely.
- Logistics & delivery partners (such as Shiprocket and courier companies) — to ship and track your orders.
- Messaging & notifications — an SMS provider to send login OTPs, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications.
- Analytics — Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand app usage in aggregate and improve the experience.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & update — view and edit your profile, saved addresses and details directly in the App.
- Notifications — manage push and SMS preferences from your device settings.
- Delete your account — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@dashamor.com. We will process your request, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of majority in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the updated date shown above. Continued use of the App after any change means you accept the updated policy.
